Just a quick one tonight - a reminder that the next meeting of the Really Strange Record Club is NEXT WEEK - Thursday 1st May, 7:30-10:30pm, as usual at the wonderful Dreamhouse Records on Francis Road in Leyton.
Thanks to everyone who’s bagged some turntable time already - there’s still slots, so if you’re thinking of bringing a record then let me know. To recap - there’s no genre rules, anything goes1 and you can fill your 15 mins however you like - a side of an LP, some choice cuts, a selection of 7-inches, whatever you want to play. If you’re looking for some inspiration, this marathon write-up of our last three events might help (or not). CDs and tapes also welcome (though give me a heads-up about tapes in advance so I can make sure the deck’s plugged in!).
